Ireland vs Belarus-Match Preview Prediction 31-May-2016

Ireland vs Belarus:
International Friendly.
Date: Tuesday, 31 May 2016;
Kick-off: 19:45 GMT,
Venue: Turner’s Cross (Cork).
After getting brushed by Northern Ireland in a 3-0 defeat on Saturday 28 May 2016, Belarus will be facing another Ireland this time it will be Republic of Ireland on Tuesday 31st May 2016.
This being Ireland’s last warm up game before the Competition, they will want to win this game to be confidence as they enter Euro 2016 where they will play Sweden, Belgium and Italy in their group stages. On the other hand, Belarus would like to bounce back from their shameful defeat from Northern Ireland and get their first win in 2016.

Form Comparison

Ireland have been excellent in 2016, they are unbeaten in the 3 games they have played this year, also they are unbeaten in their last 5 games; they have won 2 and drawn 3.
Ireland’s attack is not all that rosy, though they have scored in every of their last 5 games but they haven’t scored pass 2 goals in their last 5 games.
Belarus are currently running on a poor form when compared to Ireland, they last won a game in December 2015 against Slovakia, they have drawn 3 of their last 4 games and lost 1 which is against Northern Ireland.
Belarus have failed to score in their last 4 games thus no goal has been recorded for the team this year.

Ireland: Predicted Line-up (4-4-2)

Given – O’shea, Coleman, Ward, Duffy, Clark – Gibson, McCarthy, Whelan, Brady – Long, Keane.

Belarus: Predicted Line-up (4-4-2)

Chrnik – Filipenko, Shitov, Martynovich, Palyakow – Hleb, Kislyak, Sergey, Stasevich – Yanush, Gordeychuk.

Ireland vs Belarus: Head-To-Head stats

This will be the first game between the two sides as there are no record of previous meetings between them.

Ireland vs Belarus: Prediction

Belarus are in a poor state, having won just 2 games during the Euro qualifying games 8 of their last 10 games have ended in either defeat or draw. They have a poor scoring form and also not that good in defence. This has put Ireland ahead of them as the favourites in this game, I expect a clear victory from the Irish team.
