MANAGER QUOTES
Antonio Conte: "Games like these, against strong national teams like England, are very useful. They must make us grow, and they give me the opportunity of examining all of the players. I'm curious. The supporters have to back Italy. I have an excellent relationship with the Italian supporters, and they know we're working in a difficult moment.”

Roy Hodgson: "There were so many great moments when I was in Italy - my favourite moment was when I was offered the job as manager of Inter. It is a time to experiment and look at other players. But you will have to wait until the game tomorrow to see my team. I think it is nice to see them (Rooney and Harry Kane) on the field together. I am pleased to see them playing together from the start. Harry deserves his chance. It is a great opportunity for players to show they really deserve their place in the squad - and show they can take the places of those in front of them. All friendly matches during qualification allow you to see where players are. It's an opportunity for players to impress both managers.”
Gianluigi Buffon on trying to halt Harry Kane after his 29 goals for Spurs: "I think he really is the form player in English football at this time. As goalkeepers - and as a team - we have watched some footage of him and of course he's going to be a threat, just as Wayne Rooney will be. There are a number of players, particularly up top, for England. They've got a lot of strings to their bow going forward."
